I am sometimes known to over-design my pieces, so I admire the simplicity of this black glass and gold necklace set.  I made the necklace strand from a design by Seonhee Kim @SHJewelryCreations. My chosen colorway of jet black beads will hang nicely on just about any top and a hint of golden glass sprinkled in the mix satisfies my artistic urge, as always, to “be different”. The tiny gold accent beads give balance to my original design handwoven wire pendant.  The necklace’s barbell swirl toggle clasp supports the chic-ness of this piece so nicely. This strand waited patiently for earrings and suddenly the design fell into place.  I wove black Czech pearls into 1-inch hoops. This creation doesn’t demand a whole lot of attention which led me to name it “Sedated Gold”.  That said, I find it captivating and very chic!
