The deep Blue Goldstone is actually a synthetic gemstone glass infused with copper particles that create a sparking sand-like appearance. The blue is so deep that it sometimes appears black.
Red jasper nuggets add a dimension of texture that suits the goldstone in coloration.
My unique wire wrapped beads - created from gold and vintage bronze metals - tie the goldstone and jasper together as they surround and enhance the goldstone.
Despite its bulky appearance, this lovely, earthy-looking piece weighs only 2.2 ounces. Tiny gold metal beads join this mixed media strand to a high fashion gold toggle clasp composed of a base metal of 925 sterling silver that is heavily plated in yellow gold (aka known as Gold Vermeil).
