This nutmeg glass bead necklace set has woven disc pendants suspended on a strand of jeweltone glass within a wire-woven bale with matching beadwork earrings. Inspired by French beading techniques, I wove tiny glass beads of a reddish nutmeg color around a small jasper sphere to create a disc pendant. I did the same using mauvy copper glass pearls in the earring discs. I beaded the necklace strand with complementary jeweltone glass and attached the pendant by creating a wire woven bale to tie it all together. Hand crafted earwires created by yours truly. The only component I did not manufacture is the beautiful Tierra Cast toggle clasp.
Because these are light weight, earring stoppers are recommended. | How to prevent misshaping earwires when removing stoppers? Screw them off instead of pulling on them.|
