This nutmeg glass bead necklace set has woven disc pendants suspended on a strand of jeweltone glass within a wire-woven bale with matching beadwork earrings. Inspired by French beading techniques, I wove tiny glass beads of a reddish nutmeg color around a small jasper sphere to create a disc pendant. I did the same using mauvy copper glass pearls in the earring discs. I beaded the necklace strand with complementary jeweltone glass and attached the pendant by creating a wire woven bale to tie it all together. Hand crafted earwires created by yours truly. The only component I did not manufacture is the beautiful Tierra Cast toggle clasp.
Because these are light weight, earring stoppers are recommended. | How to prevent misshaping earwires when removing stoppers? Screw them off instead of pulling on them.|

Measuring a necklace that you wear often is the easiest way to replicate the fit that you prefer. Try the method below to find the necklace "hang" length you are seeking. This measurement makes buying a new one with similar fit expectations much easier.
- Lay the necklace flat: unclasp it, straighten it out so that it isn't twisted or knotted.
- Use a ruler or tape: from the clasp over to the other end of the necklace, excluding any pendant drop unless that is part of how you wear it.
- Add pendant length (if any): If there is a fixed pendant that hangs below the necklace strand, take a measurement of the drop from wear it hangs from the necklace strand, adding that to the length to get your desired "hang" length.
